At Bosch, we are well aware of the negative effects of limescale on washing machines. The worst of these effects is a build up of limescale on the heating element, which can result in this component becoming less effective at heating up the water. Even worse, it may need to be replaced entirely.

It s for this reason that we highly recommend descaling a washing machine every three to six months with our tested and approved washing machine descaler. This helps protect against the build up of limescale deposits and prolongs the life of your appliance.

Step by step guide

1. Ensure the washing machine is empty and all the laundry is removed.

2. Pour the entire contents of the Quick Descaler into the empty drum.

3. Select a 60 C programme without pre wash and start the appliance. Let the programme run until the end.
