Cooker Hood not eliminating smells

Cooker Hood not eliminating smells

If your cooker hood isn’t effectively eliminating cooking odours and emitting a funky smell instead, here's what to check:

Dirty filters: Over time, carbon filters trap grease and odours. Since they cannot be cleaned, it's crucial to replace them regularly. For optimal efficiency, it's recommended to replace carbon filters at least once a year.

Food particles trapped inside: Food debris can accumulate inside the hood, causing unpleasant smells. Regular cleaning of the hood's interior is essential to prevent this buildup.

If you can't identify or resolve the issue, we advise against attempting repairs yourself. Instead, book a repair with one of our highly trained and qualified Bosch engineers.
