It is common for ovens, steamers, and grillers to trip electrical circuit breakers, especially if they have not been used for an extended period. This issue can often be resolved by gradually reheating the oven, following the steps below:

Step by Step Guide

1.Set the oven to 50 C using the 'Top and Bottom Heat' mode.

2.Once the oven reaches 50 C, increase the temperature in stages as follows:

  • Set to 80 C and wait until it reaches that temperature.
  • Then increase to 150 C and wait again.
  • Finally, increase to 200 C, allowing the oven to reach each temperature before moving to the next.

3.After reaching 200 C, increase the temperature to 250 C and maintain this setting for 1 hour.

4.After the hour is complete, turn off the oven.

Important Note

To prevent circuit breakers from tripping in the future, always increase the oven temperature gradually during preheating. This helps avoid a sudden surge in power consumption, which is often the cause of electrical tripping.
