While it s normal for an ceramic hob to emit humming or buzzing sounds when heating cookware or cooling down, crackling noises can indicate an issue. These sounds may occur if the hob comes into contact with wet or unsutable materials, which can cause burn marks and other damage.

If the issue persists, we advise against attempting repairs yourself. Instead, book a repair with one of our highly trained and qualified Bosch engineers.
