There are multiple causes which can result in a washing machine tripping the electrics, such as the motor, the heater, the suppressor, a wire shorting out, or water leaking onto an electric part. It can therefore be difficult to determine exactly which cause is responsible without professional help.

You may try to reset the circuit breaker and/or replace the fuse in the plug. However, if the washing machine is still causing electric trips or it is now no longer working after doing this, we advise against attempting repairs yourself.
