Preparing the unit for installation
  • Cabinet units and adjacent cabinets of the appliance should be heat-resistant for up to 90° and 70° respectively
  • Electrical installation should always be performed by qualified technicians.
  • For ergonomic comfort, install the appliance up to a height which allows you to safely take trays and hot food easily in and out of the oven.
  • For ventilation purpose, allow cool air to enter from the bottom of the cabinet through an opening and remove the back panel of the cabinet.
  • Cable Length: 1.2m (direct wiring is recommended for models with electrical power that is more than 3000watt).
Preparing the unit for Ventilation
  • Ensure there is no backing panel behind the oven and minimum 20mm gap must be provided.
  • Recommended 100cm gap below the cabinet. Width of opening minimum 460mm.

Power point for Ventilation
Ideal to have powerpoint in the cabinet next to oven niche, however, if it is not possible, have it directly behind the oven.
NOTE1
  • In case of the need to have backing as a support frame work, here must have at least a 200mm x 400mm opening here for air ventilation.
NOTE2
  • To install wire netting to prevent foreign matters dropping into cabinet.
  • Height depends on the appliance model

  • Maintain a minimum 5mm gap between the oven/steam oven fascia panel and the cabinet
NOTE3
  • If the appliance is installed under a hob, maintain a ventilation gap specified by the installation manual or at least 30mm between the table top and top of the oven.

  • The power socket for the appliance must either be located in the hatched area A or away from the installation space.
NOTE1
  • For corner installation, check minimum clearances. Ensure that there is sufficient clearance A for the front panel and its handles. Check that the appliance door can be opened properly.

  • A gap of 45mm should be maintained between the appliance and wall. There should not be a back panel behind the appliance.

  • Intermediate flooring is required when one appliance is on top of another. Only exception is when the appliance is installed above a warming drawer.
